UMass Boston’s 50th Anniversary Website
2014 marks UMass Boston’s 50th anniversary. With nearly 17,000 students in 11 colleges, it’s hard to know which achievements to highlight! I led a team from the Office of Communications, IT, the Library and Archives, and graduate students from the university’s public history program, to develop a website that would fit the university’s needs.
Visitors to the site can see a timeline of the university’s history, and share their personal stories from their time at UMass Boston.
Skies Alive: Bird Migration in the Garden State
Birds in New Jersey have a lot of obstacles to overcome on their migration through the Americas. Produced at Chedd-Angier-Lewis (now the Richard Lewis Media Group), this interactive tilt table exhibit for the Newark Museum highlights the manmade and natural hazards that birds encounter every year.
As project manager and producer for this interactive game, I worked with museum staff, graphic designers, animators, game developers, and voice talent to produce the final product, which traveled around the country with the Skies Alive exhibit.
