I’m thrilled to announce that starting on Sunday, January 31st, I’ll be the new host of Commonwealth Journal on WUMB.

Commonwealth Journal, WUMB’s public affairs program, had its first show in 1987. After its revival in 2000, the show has aired more than 500 half-hour episodes with more than 700 different guests. The show has received awards from the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association, the Associated Press, the American Cancer Society, and the International Festivals of New York.

The show airs Sundays at 7:00 p.m. WUMB 91.9 FM Boston, and on many other stations throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Check local listings for specific air times. Listeners can also catch Commonwealth Journal online via its podcast, or subscribe via iTunes.

Our first guest is Mo Cunningham, professor of political science at UMass Boston.
